As you all may know, I recently coloured my hair to a lighter brown and I am loving the colour and the brightness it brings. Since this is the first time I have ever coloured my hair, I obviously have to change my hair regiment to fit my the health of my hair. I have really thick hair and just washing it is a chore for me. A little backstory, I recently had my hair done for prom at the salon and the senior stylist told me that I had so much wax buildup that keeping just one curl in my hair would just go limp in less than a minute. From that day forward, I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo and conditioner for a year and a half. Now I know what you guys are thinking about, ” Why are you washing your hair every third day with clarifying products?” Well let me tell you before my hair was coloured, my hair has not been softer and lighter in years.
Recently on my Instagram stories, I showed you guys a recent purchase of the new Loreal Ever Pure line and the Loreal Extraordinary Oil. I have used the moisture shampoo and conditioner for almost a month now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The first day I used the products, not going to lie, my hair was having trouble adjusting to the new shampoo and conditioner. I am here to tell that it was only one time that it happened. As I kept using that shampoo, my hair felt significantly softer and easier to work with. I have been using the line for almost a month and my colour does not look stripped or brassy. Just before I dry my hair, I apply the Extraordinary Oil for a leave-in treatment that leaves my hair soft and keeps the moisture locked in. I really love these products and would recommend them to anyone.
I am not trying to promote Loreal in any way, shape or form, this is just my experience so far using these products. I hope you guys will enjoy my first review, it is a bit rushed because I have been so busy lately but I really just wanted to come on and say hi. I will be posting more content soon and hopefully have some holiday surprises for you guys.

I really want to try the oil soon! The shampoo and conditioner did not work for me at all though, left my hair feeling greasy and I could feel the build up.

I love finding a new hair product that just makes all the difference. I love changing shampoos often as I have a theory my hair gets used to the formula and the shampoo stops working as well as it used to at the beginning.

I have heard people do that as well. I am sticking to this line for two months and then changing it up with a clarifying shampoo and conditioner to just make sure extra buildup is collected in my scalp.

That sounds like a great idea. Also, I just tried this briogeo scalp scrub and it’s so good! I highly recommend it.
